Writing an article on this site

Example article

A sample page that shows what an article looks like and how its text is formatted. Edit or delete it in the CMS.

Articles are regular pages: a title, an optional line above it, a short description that shows in the hero, and a body written in Markdown. Each article is published at /<slug>/, so this one lives at /writing-an-article/.

Headings and paragraphs

Use ## for section headings and ### for sub-headings. Paragraphs are separated by a blank line. Bold and italic work as usual, and links look like the API docs.

Lists

  • A bulleted list item
  • Another one, with inline code
  • A third
  1. Numbered lists work too
  2. In order

Code

Fenced code blocks are shown in the dark code panel:

curl -X POST https://api.accuserp.com/v1/keywords \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $ACCUSERP_API_TOKEN" \
  --data-urlencode "keyword=specialty coffee roasters" \
  --data-urlencode "locale=en-us"

Tables

FieldWhere it shows
preTitleThe small bold line above the title
titleThe page heading and browser title
descriptionThe paragraph under the heading
bodyEverything below the hero

Images

Upload an image in the Media Library, copy its URL and use the usual Markdown syntax: ![Alt text](https://…/image.png).
